EPIS is a non-profit association of market pulp producers, which promotes positive awareness of renewable and sustainable cellulose products for the benefit of society.

EPIS provides

  • Market research and statistics
  • Collaboration and close relations with other associations and authorities
  • Cooperation on technical standards, best practices and innovation
  • Coordination and distribution of scientific studies, publications and reports 
  • Promotion of the sustainability and added value of cellulose products
  • Collaboration in the area of occupational health and safety


International cooperation

The European Pulp Industry Sector AISBL, in short EPIS, is an international non-profit organization consisting of companies producing chemical market pulps and having a presence in Europe.

EPIS is currently comprised of 19 members.

EPIS works in close collaboration with CEPI, the Confederation of European Paper Industries, based in Brussels.
